Whether you're searching for Chantilly fall activities or Alexandria family festival vibes, this celebration delivers the perfect mix of safe Halloween fun and community connection.

From premium candy crawls to dance parties and hands-on crafts, every detail has been designed to create lasting memories. Best of all? Everything is completely free and open to the public.

What to Expect at Trick or Treat 2025

Premium Candy Crawl Adventure

Start your Halloween journey at the BOO-tique registration station in South Riding Market Square (25000 Riding Plz, Chantilly, VA 20152). Each child receives a complimentary trick-or-treat tote before embarking on a candy-filled adventure around the center.

Up to 40 participating merchants will be clearly marked with festive event signage, making it easy for little trick-or-treaters to plan their route. From cozy cafes to trendy boutiques, each stop offers sweet treats and the chance to meet local business owners who make this community so special.

Jibbitz BOO-tique Shopping Experience

After collecting candy, head back to the BOO-tique for a unique shopping experience. Each child can select one silicone bracelet and choose four charms to create a personalized keepsake. Display trays make browsing easy, while tabletop hanging racks put everything at kid-eye level. It's the perfect take-home reminder of a magical afternoon.

Monster Mash Dance Party

Our live DJ keeps the energy high with family-friendly beats and hosts the beloved Monster Mash Freeze Dance competition. Quick feet and big smiles can win candy necklace prizes, making this the perfect spot for costumed kids to show off their moves. Bonus points for the most creative Halloween costume!

Picture-Perfect Photo Opportunities

Capture the magic at our fall-themed photo station featuring rustic wood backdrops, cozy haybales, corn stalks, cheerful pumpkins, soft blankets, and smiling scarecrows. It's your one-stop spot for those essential Halloween family photos that'll look amazing on your holiday cards.

Creative Fun at the Creation Station

Let imaginations run wild with hands-on DIY activities. Kids can decorate wooden ghost magnets to take home and relax with spooky coloring sheets—the perfect balance of creativity and calm between candy stops.

Balloon Artists and Glitter Tattoos

Two talented balloon artists and one glitter tattoo artist will be stationed under a festive tent, ready to create squeaky masterpieces and sparkly designs. Expect plenty of grins, giggles, and maybe a few surprise animal balloon sidekicks.

Throughout the venue, cute-and-spooky decorations including scarecrows and skeletons create the perfect Halloween atmosphere without being too scary for little ones.

Why You Can't Miss This Community Celebration

This isn't just another Halloween event—it's become a beloved Chantilly tradition that brings families and local businesses together. Last year's celebration welcomed hundreds of families who created lasting memories while supporting local merchants.

Local business owners consistently report increased foot traffic and new customer connections from participating in community events like this one. For families, it offers something increasingly rare: a safe, free, and genuinely fun way to celebrate Halloween while building connections with neighbors and local businesses.

Sarah Martinez, who attended last year with her two kids, shared: "My children are still wearing their charm bracelets from last year's event. It was such a well-organized, fun afternoon that didn't cost us a penny. We've already marked our calendars for this year!"

The event's success lies in its perfect balance of structured activities and free-flowing fun. While there's plenty to do, families can move at their own pace and participate in whatever appeals most to their children.
