There is something special about a crisp fall day when the community comes together. On October 18, 2025, Dillingham Square transformed into a hub of excitement, laughter, and autumn spirit for the annual Fall Festival and Trick-or-Treat event.

Hosted in the Waters End Brewery parking lot, the weather couldn't have been more perfect. We were treated to sunny skies and a comfortable 70 degrees—the ideal backdrop for families to enjoy the festivities. With over 750 attendees and 3,750 onsite impressions, the energy was undeniable from the moment the event kicked off at 11:00 AM.

Community Spirit in Full Swing

The day began at the Guest Services Check-In, where operations ran smoothly. Guests were greeted with a smile and handed adorable pumpkin-shaped trick-or-treat bags, setting the tone for a fun-filled afternoon. These bags weren't just functional; they became an instant keepsake for the kids (and parents!) as they navigated the square.

The festival featured activities designed to engage every age group. The Dual Slide Bounce House was a massive anchor attraction, providing a non-stop energy zone for the little ones to burn off some of that candy sugar. Meanwhile, the Fall Themed Photo Op became a social media magnet. The seasonally inspired backdrop was one of the busiest spots of the day, capturing countless smiles and family memories.

The Great Premium Candy Crawl

The heart of this event was undoubtedly the Premium Candy Crawl. It was a massive logistical success, largely due to the incredible participation of our tenants. A total of 33 Dillingham Square merchants—ranging from Waters End Brewery to Gold’s Gym and Hand & Stone Massage—joined forces to create a vibrant, center-wide route.

To make navigation easy for families, we placed clear "Candy Here" signs at participating doors. This small detail made a huge difference, ensuring traffic flowed smoothly across the property. It was heartwarming to see businesses like The Dental Spa, Paisanos, and Precious Lambs engaging directly with the community.

Creativity Station: Not Just for Kids

One of the biggest surprises of the day was the popularity of the DIY Creation Station. While we expected the children to enjoy making wooden pumpkin magnets, the adults got in on the fun too! The keychain and pen bar base became a hit with parents, proving that creativity doesn't have an age limit. It offered a nice change of pace from the high energy of the candy crawl and bounce house.

What the Neighbors Are Saying

The feedback from the community has been overwhelmingly positive. It is always our goal to create experiences that guests want to return to year after year.

Here is what some of our attendees had to say:

"This festival is on our calendar every fall now. My daughter spent half an hour jumping in the Bounce House, and we got the most amazing family picture at the Fall Themed Photo Op. It's a non-stop, quality afternoon of fun."

"The Premium Candy Crawl was so well-done this year! Having 33 merchants participate made the route feel huge, and those 'Candy Here' signs made it easy to navigate."

"We absolutely loved the Creation Station! The crafting wasn't just for the kids—my husband and I had a great time making a key chain."

Looking Forward

The Dillingham Square Fall Festival was a testament to what happens when property management, local merchants, and the community align. From the seamless registration process to the smiles at the photo booth, every detail contributed to a successful activation that drove foot traffic and strengthened tenant relationships.

We want to extend a huge thank you to every merchant who participated and every family who came out to celebrate with us. Events like these remind us why we love what we do.
